  1. When you join our Team Speak as a public player with the information and rules posted in the above "sticky" post, you will be able to enter our "General Lobby" but not be able to move yourself to a gaming channel. Please hang in channel for a few minutes and someone should eventually notice you there and come in and either talk to you or if you are expected already, drag you to the proper gaming channel. Once you disconnect from Team Speak, you will have to follow the same procedure each time you join our Team Speak. If/when you apply for membership and become a member your premissions will be turned on of course.
  2. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD+ to join our Team Speak!!!!! When you join our Team Speak as a public "visitor" with the information and rules posted below, you will be able to enter only our "General Lobby" and not be able to move yourself to a gaming channel. These rules are strictly enforced and "I didn't know" will not be an acceptable excuse". Please follow these rules. Offenders will be kicked or banned depending on the severity of the offense. 1. HAVE FUN!! 2. Respect others. 3. No excessive foul language. We understand the occasional slip, but we try to keep foul language at a minimum.. 4. No Racism. Use of any racially derogatory terms, names or slurs will result in immediate bans from all -=BwA=- servers. 5. Respect all admin requests. If you disagree please make a forum post. TeamSpeak will not be the place to air your concerns. Please just do as asked or leave, make a polite forum post and our staff will address it ASAP. 6. You must be 21+ to be in our servers. Please note that there are no "HANGOUT" channels in this server. This server is used only for games and leagues supported by -=BwA=-. Use of this server for any other purpose can result in loss of use. This will be up to the discretion of the -=BwA staff. These are just the basics. Please honor the request of any -=BwA=- member or admin.
  3. Read our Rules and Requirements, agree to them and meet our age requirements. Please create an account. At this time make sure to enter "Primary Game", "SteamID" and "Reason for joining". (These are not required and can also be entered after confirming your account and logging in) After doing this, you will receive an email almost immediately to confirm your account. If you haven't done so in step 2, fill out your profile info: "Primary Game", "SteamID", "Reason for joining" and "Birthdate" Once the above steps are done, create an introductory topic post in Request To Join BwA. Members must be in Team Speak voice server when on our servers A working microphone so you can communicate in game/team speak with us. Be a respectful, fun loving person. Our rules can be found posted here in this area of the forums. To apply requires a valid email address. Submit an application now!

Our rules are rather simple & easy to abide by, if you have been banned it is normally going to be because of one of these rules. 1) Foul Language or Racism is not tolerated in voice or type. 2) Disrespect to BwA members or other public players. 3) If you are asked to change your name(foul language etc.) & you do not do so. 4) Nude, Semi-Nude or Crude Sprays 5) Mic spamming with music or constant talking. 4) Intentional T/K, flashing spawn & or the little glock shot in the back out of spawn every round. 5) Hacking These bans may be short temporary ones of just a matter of minutes, to hours, to days, to permanent, depending on the degree, circumstances & how much you may have pushed the envelope on the issue! Permanent bans will be issued to players who take any of the above to the extreme or repeat offenders. This of course is at the discretion of the present admin. If you have been banned permanently, it was for a VERY good reason & I doubt that pleading your case will result in you being returned to good standing status on our servers, but post if you feel you have been wrongfully banned. PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR DISCONNECT MESSAGE TO SEE IF YOUR BAN IS BY IP OR STEAM ID! If you have been banned from our servers post info here to be considered for review. Provide as much information as possible including: Tag (game) name used Steam ID # What server Approximate date/time What you think happened and any explanations.
  6. We have just a few basic rules for these forums and the content they host... 1.) No nudity- Posting pictures or video links containing sexually explicit content will cause your thread to be promptly deleted from the forums, and your forum access possibly to be suspended or even revoked for multiple offenses. 2.) No racism- The posting of any racist content or the use of any racial slurs will get your forum access removed immediately and will possibly lead to you being removed from the clan. NO EXCEPTIONS AT ALL! PERIOD! 3.) Be respectful- We welcome people to post about whatever they wish to discuss or share with the rest of us, but keep people's feelings in mind. Posting of any content with the intention of deliberately insulting another person will get your thread removed from the forums and your access possibly suspended. Not everyone has the same take on life's issues as you do, so keep your political views out of these forums. 4.) Sigs- Maximum signature size should be 600x300 pixels in size though around 450x175 pixels is a good size for these forums. Sigs should not be offensive or contain nudity as per our general BwA rules.
  7. Welcome to Better with Age Gaming, thanks for stopping by! Our group was formed to have a place for gamers of a somewhat mature, friendly nature to have a Home to gather and enjoy gaming with like minded individuals, to build new friendships, and expand current ones. Though all groups must have some structure, we see our group as a "family of friends" where all members can have a voice in all decisions, direction, rules, etc… of the group. A group where all members are treated and respected equally. We are an "open" group where full disclosure of all things and keeping ALL members fully informed is our desire. We have some very basic requirements for our members (skill level of gaming is not one of them, and we welcome all, from new players to professionals). A quick summary of those requirements is to be 21 years old, and we require our members to be in Team Speak and to have a working microphone so you can communicate in game/team speak with us. We do not allow in voice, type, tags, or anywhere any: extreme foul language, racist remarks, discrimination, trash talking, disrespecting of any players (members or public), unwarranted hacking accusations, crude or nude/semi nude sprays, mic spaming with voice or music, team attacking/killing, spawn attacking, hacking of any sort, or anything that impacts the overall fun and enjoyment of the other players. The bottom line is we desire a mature, friendly, clean gaming environment. If you are looking for a Home where you can game with friendly, fun loving, mature people, then please check us out. We warmly welcome all like minded gamers to join us or play as pubs in our servers!
  8. HAVE FUN: That's why we're all here! You don't play an online game to be miserable, and we wouldn't have formed this group if we didn't enjoy playing games and each other's company. We all have fun when we respect each other and the public. Sure it can get intense in the heat of battle, but when the round ends, we should hear nothing but "good game" and "nice shot". The same goes for text messages to the public. Only positive statements. "Hello, NS, GG," do not bait or insult a public player in text, regardless of what they type. Let it go. Having fun on our servers does not include flame wars in text. If you have a public player that's getting out of hand, get an Admin. It's not fun to have the public complaining in our forums about the conduct of one of our own behaving badly. Looks bad for all of us. DONATIONS: This entire group is member supported. All donations go toward Servers, Websites, Domain Registrations etc. All members are volunteers. No donations pay for any "expenses" of any member. They all are collected and spent on group services. A monthly detailed profit & loss statement will be provided to all members. While donations are not mandatory, it's fairly obvious that nothing we do on-line is free. You have to pay for your game, computer and connection. We have to pay to provide you with a place to play, talk and post. Donations are collected through Pay Pal. We are very cautious with your donations and transparent to all members with the financials. Expansion or contraction of server numbers, quality, etc. will be based on the members input and financial support. All donations of any amount are appreciated. We do hope all members and even our guest will do what they can each month! Think about the amount of time and enjoyment you get (or will get) on our servers and in vent and then think what you spend on say 1 movie a month or 1 dinner out, etc.. and then realize what a bargain a small donation each month is. Thanks for any and all you can do! NO CHEATING: We expect that you hate cheaters as much as we do. If you are caught cheating on any of our servers, you will be banned permanently. If you are flagged or caught in a game that uses Punkbuster, Punksbusted or VAC, or in a league like CAL or TWL cheating, expect to be removed immediately until the matter is cleared up. It will solely be the flagged member's responsibility to clear this matter up. Once Punkbuster ,Punksbusted or VAC has removed the ban, you will be reinstated. Do not ever accuse a member or a pub player of cheating! If you think this is happening or have proof, submit the information confidentially to the appropriate staff member(s). LIMIT FOUL LANGUAGE (in voice or typed): Remember, we are a mature group, but, foul language is not uncontrollable, and many of us don't feel that a constant barrage of profanity is fun to listen to while playing. An occasional slip of the tongue is one thing, but repeated violations may result in disciplinary actions against you, or removal from the group. NO COMPLAINING/WHINING: If you want to constantly complain about every little thing that happens to you in game, DON'T press your talk key. (Ex: I'm lagging, my shot registry sucks, I am getting choke, hit boxes are off, etc….) Whine and complain all you want to your monitor. When you've gotten it out, rejoin the one's trying to have fun in chat and get back to laughing with the rest of us. Repeated "whining" or "complaining" will lead to disciplinary actions or removal from the group NO RELIGION/POLITICAL TALK or RACIAL SLURS: Racism will NOT be tolerated here. It's that simple. We don't use the "N" word or any other derogatory phrase towards anyone person or that person's country when on our servers (voice or text) or forums. On our servers you will respect the members, their spouses, all pub players and their countries. This goes in ALL channels and forums. Also, this is a gaming server, not a political arena. Do not assume that everyone shares your political views. Leave your opinion at the door. NO DEGRADING OF OTHER CLANS: We do not allow our members to go around and bash other clans. This includes posting on other clans forums. You might think that "post war" you got into on a non-BwA forum is your business. If it comes to our attention, it may result in disciplinary actions against you or removal from the group. TEAM KILLING/ATTACKING:- No intentional team killing, especially in retaliation for being team attacked/killed. This includes ongoing, constant seemingly "accidental" team attacking, and that little quick team hit coming out of spawn. We expect all players to quickly apologize in voice or type as quickly as they can when they team attack/kill. We all hit our own teammates from time to time, but we should be trying to limit this as much as possible. Also, when team killed, please take in to account the amount of damage you took, the circumstances, amount of times that player has team attacked you and others, etc… into consideration before you pick a "punish" option in game. RESPECT ALL PLAYERS: Do not insult members or the public on our servers. This includes in text or in voice. Do not call players names or insult them or make fun of their gaming style or abilities. Do not criticize them for "camping", etc.., or for making mistakes in strategy, etc. Failure to follow this will not be tolerated. You're on a BwA server. We don't care what the "norm" for conduct is on other servers; don't bring your "public" game in here. CLAN TAG: -=BwA=- We encourage you to always wear your clan tag. MISSING IN ACTION: Any member who is MIA for a long enough period will be removed from the active roster and placed on the MIA Roster. RETIREMENT REQUIREMENTS: Requirements will be set in the future. TEAM SPEAK: When on our servers, you must be logged into Team Speak and use the "Push to Talk" mode. This is mandatory. Please go in the correct room in Team Speak, don't chit-chat in the same area that others are trying to play. Move it to another channel. . You will be expected to fix a broken mic ASAP (2 weeks max). Also considered as a broken mic is one that picks up too much "room noise" when keyed open. Get a headset to reduce the amount of extraneous noise being transmitted. Do not allow anyone to log-in as you. ADMINS: On our servers, the admins are always right. Please follow the instructions of the Admins. Failure to obey admins will lead to disciplinary actions &/or removal from our group JUNIORS: Sons/Daughters are encouraged to game with us, but they are limited to the Junior channel in Teamspeak. OTHER CLANS/GROUPS: By joining we expect that this is your only group/clan for the games we support, and that you will conduct yourself in a proper, respectful way where ever you might play. If you decide you want to be in a different clan/group, we expect you to resign from ours prior to joining another. Any game we support (and compete in) is considered a conflict and you will have to make a choice or we will make the choice for you.
